Vvardenfell

Vvardenfell island zone was added to Elder Scrolls Online in Morrowind update in 2017. This large island has many points of interest to explore and investigate.

You can travel in Vvardenfell on foot and mounts, but you can also travel via tall silt striders which can take you to nearby settlements. Of course, Wayshrines are also available.

The following major Vvardenfell landmarks and locations are marked on map:

  6. Ald Carac
  7. Sadrith Mora
  8. Tel Fyr / Halls of Fabrication

1. Seyda Neen

Seyda Neen is your arrival point in Vvardenfell. This port town will be the first place you visit in this zone, from which you can proceed east to Vivec City and Suran, or North to Balmora, Ald’ruhn, and Gnisis

2. Vivec City

Vivec City, well known to players of Elder Scrolls Morrowind, is Vvardenfell’s capital city. There are numerous sights to take in Vivec City, including Vivec’s Palace, the Hall of Justice, the Library of Vivec, and, most notably, the meteor Baar Dau that floats above your head! Vivec City features a full suite of crafting stations, stores, and daily quest givers. Don’t forget to visit god Vivec to start your quests!

3. Balmora

Redoran city of Balmora is northwest of Vivec City. Balmora has local Fighters and Mages guilds, and Morag Tong.

4. Zainsipilu

Zainsipilu is an underground delve full of nix-hounds and fetherflies. Morrowind has a total of 6 delves for you to explore.

5. Ald’ruhn

Ald-ruhn is an Ashlander camp north of Balmora with quests and interesting stories.

6. Ald Carac

Ald Carac is a battleground set in a decaying Dwarven ruin. You can join battlegrounds once you’re level 10. You can also find Farthalem nearby, whp sells PvP gear.

7. Sadrith Mora

This island town is located on the eastern coast of Vvardenfell. Full of House Telvanni sorcerers, this is a great place to pick up more quests or visit vendors.

8. Tel Fyr – Halls of Fabrication

Halls of Fabrication is a new 12-man trial (raid) introduced in Morrowind.


These locations are just some of the places you can discover when you visit Vvardenfell in ESO: Morrowind, but there are countless other adventures to be had off of the beaten path.
